Call for Abstracts

The 2011 Pan-Am CGS Geotechnical Conference Call for Abstracts will be issued in 2010.

In order to be considered, abstracts will need to be submitted using the online system on the 2011 Pan-Am CGS Geotechnical Conference web site – a submission link will be posted in 2010. Authors will be asked to indicate the Technical Stream/Theme under which they wish their paper to be presented.

Abstract submission will not require a paid delegate registration. However, at least one author of an accepted paper must register for the conference as a paid delegate in order to upload a final paper in 2011 and will be expected to make an oral or poster presentation of the paper at the conference.

Submitted papers will be reviewed prior to final acceptance for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Final decisions regarding technical merit, relevance, the assigned session topic for submitted papers and the presentation format (oral or poster) will rest with the Technical Committee.

Accepted papers will appear in the CD-Rom and printed published proceedings of the conference – each registrant will receive the CD-Rom version as part of their delegate registration fee.
